Five Maxims For Free Drinks!
My friend in college Avika (name changed) is a unique character in ways more than one. She is intelligent, innocent looking and impudent at the same time.
I have seen the cutest and sexiest hunks falling for her although she is not beautiful in the real sense of the word.
Avika is not ashamed of using her assets to get what she wants. Being free from all kind of moral baggage which we all carry being a girl here in India, Avika loves to go on rampage whenever she feels like.
We have become friends of sorts in the past few months. She also introduced me to her gang of friends. I became familiar with many upwardly mobile pubs and lounges in the city.
Before joining this gang I had never imagined that a girl would use a complete stranger. Avika’s gang of girlz has mastered this art and they use it to their maximum potential to get free drinks and their rate of success is almost 100 percent.
When I expressed my shock and disbelief to her Avika laughed at me, “Tu behanji hai kya. Come on! If Guyz are willing to pay for our attention then why we shouldn’t.” I protested, “Avika it is not only risky but it is something bizarre. Tu aise kaise kisi ladke se drinks le sakti hai. It is a sluttish behaviour.”
She looked at me as if I was living in 18th century, “Sweetheart, there is nothing sluttish about it. It’s a simple give and take equation. Guyz need my company and I need free drinks. It takes only five minutes conversation and a big smile.”
Then she went on to elaborate her tricks for free drinks. What I could gather from the entire conversation could be reproduced in Five Maxims of Getting Free Drinks.
1-To get a free drink use eye contact. The moment you enter a bar make seductive eye contact with the bartender. Find a seat close to the bartender and look around for a smart, handsome sexy guy. Make strong eye contact. It works most of the time.
2- Look hot but you should not dress like a tramp. Show off your best features in a sexy outfit and work your stuff. Sadly, batting your eyelashes and flipping your hair still works as well as it did when your Mom was in college. Give him a good tantalizing view of your cleavage.
3- While dancing with a guy on the dance floor who is holding his drink in his hand. You say, “What are you drinking?” while casually taking the drink from his hands and taking a sip. Keep dancing and then walk away. He won’t have the balls to ask for it back.
4- Flirting is a key to a risk free drink. By using your mojo you can get what you want. Talk to a guy for 5 minutes. It’s surprising how little it takes. If he’s looking for some action, he’s going to ask you if you want a drink.
5- Dress as if it is your birthday today. Many pubs offer free drinks to girlz on their birthdays.
To sum it up, Avika has developed a sure shot mechanism to get a free drink from guyz. For her it is a cakewalk to get it from a random guy at the bar but to me this idea is quite vile.
Deep down my heart I would love to have a drink for which I do not pay but using a stranger for it is a big no-no for me.
