As the internet was busy taking sides with either Allopathy and Ayurveda, I had an amazing conversation with a friend of mine who is a life long student and practitioner of Ayurveda. We were having a heated discussion over the claims made by the modern day ‘Yoga Guru’ and then she told me that Ayurveda was a way of living life in sync with nature.

Mother Nature gives us signals. I wasn’t convinced but then we started talking sex. And she gave me knowledge about seasons and physiology. I thought of sharing those pearls of wisdom with you.

Ever thought if there are any seasonal regimens to be followed for healthy sex life ?

Ever thought about how pleasure points provide you pleasure ?

We are often caught up in the theocratic brought up, struggling sometimes to gather information for our private lives. What do you usually do? Read something informative? But amongst the thousands of magazines and articles laid out worldwide, just skimming the surface, do you feel it’s hard to find something fitting your purpose? And you might have already got tired of reading the usual how about on sex. Because ‘sex’ is….well what it is …but,

Here we bring to you some really special and healthy facts according to Ayurveda that might be quite amusing to you!

Because Ayurveda has from very ancient times considered carnal knowledge as one of the 3 primary pillars of existence. The other two being food and sleep.

As in Ayurveda, more than sexuality, hormonal balance, and physical wellness, we are talking about the incredible psyche which forms the base for healthy human existence.

WHAT IS SEX ACCORDING TO AYURVEDA?

This ancient health care system with centuries of experience is both enlightened and comprehensive in its scope. Ayurveda states that sexual energy is a vital piece of our existence.

Science points out that sexual intercourse in a controlled manner contributes to,

High memory power.

Intellectual power.

Longlife.

Health as well as strength.

Nourishment.

And high receptive power.

But a disturbed psyche is the base for all physical discomforts.

A turbulent mind can affect your sexual drive, performance, and endurance. Because physical health starts from a healthy mind.

Sex with time might go to a rumpy-pumpy mode from the initial hypes for the same reason. So how to maintain it healthily? Let’s see.

SEASONS AND LOVEMAKING.

Look around you. The trees, birds, every other organism do have a season when they breed. Isn’t it? But unlike them, this isn’t just meant to produce offspring in humans. But there are rules to this laissez-faire in Ayurveda. How? Let’s have a look.

Seasons are basically caused by transitions. Change from one climate to another. As per ancient science, we need to find a balance between mind, body, and soul amidst these changes.

Sexual energy is an additional input into our body strength, stamina, mental clarity as well as to and overall vitality. And these factors vary from season to season.

Winter :

The body is at its top quality in Hemanta Ritu (early winter) and Sisira rtu (extreme winter). After sumptuously consuming what increases virility, one can have sexual intercourse till satisfaction in these seasons.

Spring and Fall :

In Vasanta ritu (spring) and Sarat ritu (Autumn), body strength is moderate, so is stamina. Hence it is generally advised to decrease the frequency to as much as every few days, more likely once in three days or so.

Summer and Rains :

Body strength and overall energy levels are minimum during these seasons said to be Grishma rtu and Varsha rtu respectively. Hence the ayurvedic classics say sexual acts are to be limited to once in 15 days or in a similar way.

What our body and mind are constantly trying to acquire is ‘balance amidst the changes’.

And intercourse in undesirable ways can lead to :

Decrease in strength and virility.

Weakness of thighs.

Giddiness.

Fatigue.

And the weakness of senses.

These signs can later on lead to health issues in an elevated level hence aren’t to be ignored.

Now when it comes to intercourse, We need to get our sexual energy flowing. It’s not about ‘jumping the bones’… remember it’s about making love!

Unlike the artificial increase from drugs or porn, Have you tried anything else.? Have you tried exploring the unknown pleasure points of each other rather than the obvious ones you know about?

If that’s a ‘NO’, then you are missing out on some very important information.

5 PLEASURE POINTS TO AMPLIFY AROUSAL.

These pleasure points and their sensitivity differs from person to person. Pleasure points are not just mere ways to induce arousal but rather they are sources of energy and points when touched with love can be amazing stress relievers too.

  1. Feet : Say who will reject a foot massage? Most of us don’t. It does feel good right? The sole and top of feet especially in between the thumb and forefinger, at the midpoint of both feet are pressure points or Marma. These possess amazing stress-relieving abilities. Your partner might crack into small giggles as per the sensitivity level and a set of giggles will only lighten the stress and awkwardness.

2. Ears : Whisperings, gentle bites on earlobes, slow blowing into the ears are real libido lifts. Now the area behind and a bit lower to the ears are the starting point of a lot of blood vessels. When stimulated in the right way they could be meant to spread sexual energy throughout the body.

3. Belly: umbilical and naval region. It is symbolized as the point where life begins. In the region below and upper to the umbilicus, give them a gentle rub and treat them with care. This area is directly connected to the core and is considered as ‘The sea of energy’. So know your spot and miss it not!

4. Breasts: but not exactly where you are assuming! It’s no surprise breasts are sensitive and one of the most erogenous spots in a women’s body. But the region two fingers above and below to the nips around the areola are vital areas of arousal. You might need to hold back a bit and treat this area in love as a tease for better reactions.

5. Behind the knees and inner thighs : Often left out for sure. These are the regions containing some important Marma points. With the right touch, it can stimulate a woman to the level of crazy. Soft lingering caresses could be a real clutch and these are points of vulnerability as the back of the knee and the thighs process plenty of blood vessels and nerves passing through them. The impulses reach the brain faster and will get a woman turned on in no time.

So it’s time you know your body and the flow of sexual energy within. Virility, fertility, and vitality are all interconnected. The knowledge of the same accompanied by a corresponding aphrodisiac diet can lead you to ultimate sexual bliss. Trust the science and feed your way to a whole new experience!
